People have different criteria for choosing their travel destination. Some pick a place for its culture, while others opt for history. And some only have one requirement—a vibrant party scene. If you’re one of them, here are six nightlife hubs where you can enjoy the party of a lifetime.

6 Hot Destinations Made for Partying

Belize

While Belize is not as wild as its Caribbean counterparts but it has a budding nightlife that’s starting to get a lot of attention. Most of the island’s party scene happens in San Pedro in Ambergris Caye. Take note that many bars close by midnight due to an anti-noise pollution regulation but it’s still one of the best places for Americans to visit during COVID times. There are still a few ones remain open until the wee hours.

To continue partying after midnight, head to Jaguar’s Night Club or Pedro’s Club Inferno. You can also cross to Caye Caulker Island, an hour ride by ferry from San Pedro, where the crowd is much younger.

Ibiza

Ibiza’s heyday may be in the early 2000s, but this does not stop party-goers from flooding into the island to have a good time. In fact, Ibiza remains the clubbing capital of the world and houses top-notch clubs such as Privilege, Amnesia, Sankeys, and Pacha. From May to early October, parties happen practically 24/7, featuring themes that range from light-hearted to downright raucous.

Need to refresh after partying? Ibiza has a wide range of luxury villas with pools, of course, where you can relax and recharge and get ready for another round of fun.

Cancun

With its long stretch of beaches, Cancun is perfect for all-day beach lounging. But as soon as the sun goes down, the entire city turns into one big night club. And boy, people here know how to party. For a uniquely fiesta-like experience, head to Coco Bongo, where stunning acrobatics is combined with pop-culture acts and non-stop dancing (and drinking) until 5 am.

The great news is, Cancun is among the first destinations to earn the global safety stamp from the World Travel and Tourism Council. The approved health and hygiene protocols guarantee that tourists visiting Cancun are safe amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

Amsterdam

Nightlife in Amsterdam is not all about outrageous rave parties. Still, if you feel like dancing to electro beats, jamming along with a live rock band, or chilling out at a cozy jazz show, the city has you covered. Amsterdam’s primary nightlife districts are Rembrandtplein and Leidseplein. But the most visited clubs are located in the outskirts of the city, including Radion, Claire, De School, and Club NYX, famous for its flamboyant drag and LGBTQ+ nights.

There is a lot of fun to be had outside the typical party hubs. So, be sure to explore the city’s plush coffee shops, lively pubs, comedy bars, and the renowned red-light district.

Phuket

Ah, Phuket — where the days are hot and the nights even hotter. With a massive influx of tourists, the island’s party scene took on a life of its own, and has earned a somewhat notorious reputation, especially in Patong. With all-night dancing and unlimited drinking, the parties can be out-and-out debauchery But it’s all scandalously fun and absolutely worth experiencing at least once. Any self-respecting party animal would agree.

If you want to steer away from the seedy image the island’s nightlife is infamous for, head to Paradise Beach Club or KEE Sky Lounge. Don’t forget to visit the celebrated night markets scattered around the islands.

Mykonos

If you ask what’s the best time to party in Mykonos, the answer would be all day and all night. That is not an exaggeration. At the Super Paradise Beach Club, afternoon sun-bathing sessions can spontaneously transform into raving beach parties that last until the wee hours of the following day. Indeed, Mykonos is known as the Ibiza of Greece. But unlike Ibiza, it has its own distinct personality.

So, where to party? Head to Jackie ‘O Beach Club for a fix of 80’s nostalgia, to Scorpios for boho vibes, Cavo Paradiso for all-night EDM, and Babylon for its glitzy drag shows and extravagant theme parties.
